My name is Shanna Flanagan; I am a 70-year-old female in Texas. The doctors diagnosed me with Parkinson’s Disease in January 2024. This diagnosis brought a new set of challenges into my life, but it also ignited a fire within me to share my story. I have always wanted to author a book and thought if I were going to write one, I’d better start. I live with my husband, Chris, and four large dogs that I love immensely, but I love my husband, Chris, much more. We met in Washington State, where both of us worked. I worked as a 911 dispatcher, and he was in law enforcement. We were together for several years before we got married in 2013.
